Happy Easter, y'all! I hope your day consisted of lots of yummy chocolate, cute fluffy animals, and people you love.

I've had this skirt for a couple of years now, and I always pull it out around this time of year because it's perfect for Spring. Plus, I'm just a sucker for animal print.
I actually love bunnies, I've had two in the past and I totally want another one someday (when I actually have time to take care of one). The first one I had was named Buster (after the character in Arthur), he had floppy ears and was completely adorable. The second one was named Baxter and he was such a little punk. He would always try to escape, so my siblings and I spent a lot of time trying to capture him (he lived in a hutch outside), until one day when he finally escaped for good and we never saw him again *insert crying emoji here.*
I love this skirt because the print is so whimsical and fun, and since it's black and pale pink it goes well with a lot of different pieces. The sweater was kind of necessary since it was a little chilly this morning and my arms get cold pretty easily. And I just love TOMS ballet flats. Together they just make a casual outfit that's perfect for Spring.

Today I got to cover an event for a class, so of course my outfit consisted of comfortable, and totally adorable, shoes that I was able to walk around in.
My major is broadcast journalism, but I'm in a "Community Journalism" class this semester that has me going around my city and finding cool events to cover. It's been time-consuming, but overall a really awesome experience because I've learned a lot about my city and some of the ace people who live in it.
Plus, the weather is GORGEOUS today so there's no way this winter-averse girl is complaining. I've waited too long for green leaves and warmer weather. In fact, yesterday I pulled out all of my spring/summer clothes because I was so excited.
What about you? Are you excited to pull out spring/summer clothing after this looooooong winter?
Let me know in the comments!
