Mixing Prints just makes sense sometimes.
My sister Rebekah, from YourMomDesigns, made this fox scarf for me as a Christmas present and I’m in love. My sister is one of the most creative individuals I know and she never ceases to amaze me with her talent (and yes, I admit total bias).
The fox made this outfit so much more interesting too. Without it it’s just like, “White shirt and jeans? Groundbreaking” – *Miranda Priestly voice from The Devil Wears Prada.*
I’m all about finding elements in an outfit that make it interesting, and this scarf definitely succeeded.

It’s finally fall! This makes me so happy because this is my favorite time of the year (besides Christmas, of course). I just like the “feel” of fall, you know, the weather, pumpkin spice lattes, “leaf” scented candles, candy corn, and most importantly: the clothes.
Since it’s still cooling down where I live, I thought the best way to celebrate was to wear a light cardigan (it had to orange, duh), a denim shirt. . . and a ballerina-inspired skirt. I know, odd combo, but I had a short amount of time to get ready and I liked the look of it.
I also decided to use my FreeSet bag today since it’s ridiculously cute and went perfectly. For those who don’t know, FreeSet is a company that gives women who are enslaved in sex trafficking employment by making apparel and bags to sell to raise money for rescue efforts. Pretty cool right? You can read more about this company here (and no, they’re not sponsoring me).
I hope y’all are having a beautiful first day of fall! Let me know in the comments what your favorite thing about fall is!
