I didn't know it was possible, but I'm in love with these tights. Bows + Silver glitter? Amazing.
Dress - Xhiliration | Cardigan - Mossimo | Tights - Xhiliration | Shoes - MIA (DSW) | Jacket - Land's End | Bag - Tory Burch 'Dena'
Um. I have way too many things from Target in my closet and just realized when I was filling in the clothing details in this post that the majority of my outfit is from there. That's what I get when I wake up too late and throw on whatever I can find.

Goodness y'all, it is hard taking pictures with a tripod and timer. My usual crew of photographers (okay, my little brothers) have been absent lately, so I've had to take ootd pictures by myself and it's not easy.
Anyway, today I decided to use layer on my outfit mostly because the weather was much nicer than it is now, so I figured it would be pretty simple to adjust accordingly. Plus, this outfit has made me so pumped for fall because layering is my fave.
Dress - Mossimo | Shoes - Xappeal | Bag - Kate Spade | Bracelets - J.Crew, vintage (bangles)
I'm a big fan of simple outfits in the summertime. A dress, flats, minimal accessories and you're set.
This outfit was perfect for a night out with my family, I spent the evening celebrating my momma's birthday at this really cool spot called American Tobacco Campus in NC. The weather was perfect which is so unusual for this time of year, but I'm definitely not complaining!
Top - Madewell | Skirt - Mossimo | Flats - Xappeal | Wristlet - Fossil | Necklace - Forever21 | Bracelet - JCP & Vintage
There are just some color combinations that just work, and black and olive is just one of those combinations. Plus, sometimes during the summer I don't always want to wear super bright colors, it really just depends on what I feel like wearing that day.
What about you? What are some of your favorite color combinations for summer?
T-Shirt dresses are the best. You can dress them up or down, and they're so comfortable.
I've been searching for one like this and finally found it at (where else?) Target.
My one suggestion for buying a t-shirt dress is to pick a size one or two sizes larger than you normally wear. Since I really like the look of loose-flowy dresses, I picked this one up in a size large and I'm loving it.
How would you style a T-shirt dress? Let me know in the comments!
Button-Down - Ralph Lauren | Skirt - Nordstrom Rack | Loafers - Mossimo | Bag - Kate Spade | Bracelet - Old Navy | Lipstick - Revlon's Kissable Balm Stain in 'Romantic'
Maxi skirts and Ralph Lauren button-downs are the perfect outfit combo. Add red lipstick and you're good to go.

Currently laying in bed feeling pretty ill, so I thought this would be the perfect time to post the pictures from my outfit yesterday.
I'm pretty excited because after months and months of wishing Winter was over (pretty much as soon as Christmas was done), it is finally starting to feel like Spring which means that I can finally start pulling out my Spring clothes hidden away in the depths of my closet.
Even though yesterday was still kind of chilly, I decided I couldn't take it anymore and brought out the pastel blue and umbrella-printed flats. Ready to embrace Spring? Why, yes I am.
I hope y'all are having a fabulous start to the week!
I love maxi shirts. I really do.
I was in a rush this morning (like.. uh, every morning it seems) and opened my closet door, found these pieces and decided to go with it.
Maxi shirts, like I've said before and will continue to say, are just perfect for any type of situation. They're great for when you're in a hurry and need something that looks put together. Plus, pairing maxis with a button down is so in right now.
Comment on this post letting me know what you like to pair with maxi shirts! I would love the inspiration!
