Christmas time is my favorite time of the year. Seriously, the anticipation for the next Christmas begins about a month after the last one ends.
My family probably detests me for my absolute love of Christmas music (I blast it AND sing it very loudly).
And after 21 years I finally got to decorate my own place for Christmastime. Of course on my small budget, restricted amount of decorating power in my apartment, plus my allergy to real Christmas trees, well, lets just say I was limited.
I tried to find white lights at Target, but of course they were all sold out so I settled for red instead (I kinda like ’em). I’ve also been stocking up on ornaments for the past couple of years during after-Christmas sales.
And, if you couldn’t tell, I have a bit of an obsession with penguins. But I mean, come on, who doesn’t? Right?
Also, my sugar cookie/gingerbread kit making skills are that of a 3-year-old, but who’s judging. At least the cookies taste delicious, and that’s all that really matters.
